We also recognize that most brands continue to evolve over time and we encourage everyone to consistently be reviewing their brand to make sure It continues to signify exactly what you intend! Here’s a few ways you can own your brand to better stand out! 1. Get a laser focused value proposition created Branding goes beyond fonts, logos and images and includes the value you offer as a professional and a company. Most people and businesses fail to offer compelling value propositions. Make sure your value proposition is crystal clear. People should be able to explain exactly what makes you or your products unique and worth purchasing. 2. Embrace candor Branding today is a delicate balance between authenticity and mob rule. While people crave and want authenticity there is a real risk of being canceled if your views divert from the masses. The best way to stand out today is to embrace authenticity and candor over your top values. This communicates what is most important to your consumers and shows that you’re willing to stand up for your beliefs. 3. Be consistent The biggest difference between the most successful and least successful often comes down to simple consistency. If you cherish consistency and process within your brand as a value that will permeate across all channels of your business. What it means to be courageous in business

When you hear courage, you probably don’t immediately think about business. You may think of police officers and heroism, or service members overseas, firefighters from 9/11 but you aren’t too likely to think of business leaders. Yet everyday professionals and business leaders exhibit courage in business. What it means to be courageous in business is to develop and display the skill sets of risk/reward decision making, to admit you are without all the answers and to stand up for what is right. 6 Methods To Make Sure Your Business Doesn’t Fail Stay strong! Did you know that 70% of businesses will fail? We put together a FREE guide identifying the Top 6 reasons businesses fail and give you actionable steps you can take on every one of these to make sure it’s your competition failing and not you! It’s our free gift to you and you can access it right here. Courage Through Decision Making Taking calculated risks in business means to identify and take action on potential failures. It also means to weigh the risk of that failure with the reward of success. Great business leaders display strong risk adjusted decision making and continue to push the boundaries of what their business and they are capable of. This is a skill best developed through experience, mentorship and wisdom. The Courage to Not Know As business grows more complex our ability to be an expert in all aspects hits a wall. Our willingness to openly admit our own limits of knowledge is an essential skill for professionals and business owners today. Better to admit lack of knowledge and ignorance than pretend to know what we do not. The Courage of Standing up for What Is Right It’s easy as professionals and business owners to sacrifice integrity and ethics in the pursuit of business. After all, plenty of people and businesses are willing to look the other way or blatantly break the rules if they think they can get away with it. Standing up for what is right takes courage. It takes a willingness to accept losses that otherwise might not be taken. It also leads to a culture of excellence that will be unmatched by any other company or professional that is willing to compromise their ethics and integrity. Is courage in business important to you? How To Stand Out In A Saturated Industry

You’re in a crowded room. It’s loud. You can barely hear the person across from you. They can barely hear you. Your throat is getting sore, you’re starting to feel frustration sink in and you know that there’s no way you’re going to be able to make any sort of real impression. Welcome to business in today’s world! If you’re struggling to stand out in a saturated industry, it can feel like what we just described. In this blog we’ll offer a couple of ideas to help you stand out in a crowded room so you don’t feel like you have to shout until you’re hoarse! 6 Methods To Make Sure Your Business Doesn’t Fail Before we discuss our tips, did you know that 70% of businesses will fail? We put together a FREE guide identifying the Top 6 reasons businesses fail and give you actionable steps you can take on every one of these to make sure it’s your competition failing and not you! It’s our free gift to you and you can access it right here. Our chat with Steph Weber, CEO of The Weber Co is our inspiration for this blog. Steph talked to us about the alignment of brand and marketing strategies and recognizes that ALL industries are saturated, yours included! You can listen in to the replay of our conversation on our podcast here, or you can watch it on our Youtube channel! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9RT4UxHxMm4 Watch on Youtube Idea #1 It’s not about reinventing the wheel; it’s about telling your story in a different way. Successful businesses put the customer first, especially the customer needs. The next time you need to stand out tell a story about your customer win’s. Make it all about the customer, the ideal avatar and not about your business. Share how a customer problem was solved and THEN you can talk about how you were able to solve it better than someone else! Idea #2 You are unique. What makes you unique is your value. Nobody else offers the same exact experience that you offer. In a world where products and services are commoditized, if you want to stand out, your unique story needs to fulfill something to your customers and prospects that no one else is fulfilling. Again, this is about your customers, however, what is unique to you is what can best serve your customers. Magnifying this and crafting a strong story around it will help you stand out and cut through the noise! There are so many ways you can stand out from the competition. Have some fun or suffer the consequences

As business owners and professionals, it’s quite common to lean towards formality. Having a professional brand, is, if nothing else, professional. It’s also easier than having a likeable brand. But what if I told you that you need to have some fun or you’ll suffer the consequences? Before the fun starts, did you know that 70% of businesses will fail? We put together a FREE guide identifying the Top 6 reasons businesses fail and give you actionable steps you can take on every one of these to make sure it’s your competition failing and not you! It’s our free gift to you you can access it right here. In the war between likeability and professionalism businesses and professionals typically fall into one of the two camps. In my experience the formal camp of consistent professionalism is the most common to adopt into a business or profession. This is because we can follow a template. Formality, professionalism, and all the social cues that go with it are fairly easily recognizable and implementable. There isn’t much ‘risk’ in being formal. Except, maybe there is. At some point in our lives many of us start losing the ability to have fun. This peaks around 45 years of age but can start much earlier for people. Whether you’re a professional/business owner or a consumer, you’re equally impacted. And having fun matters. Having fun preserves health, increases creativity, reduces stress and leads to a better memory! Companies and people have started to take notice too… In our most recent podcast, we chatted about gamification with Eddie Jimenez of 1Huddle. Gamification requires us to have some fun. It works really well too! If you’re like most people we know, chances are you’d like to be able to be professional, run a great business and have some fun. It’s a safe bet you’d also like your client experience to mirror your own as well. An experience that is both professional AND enjoyable. It’s one of the reasons we really enjoyed our conversation around gamification. If you’d like to learn more about gamification and having fun you can listen to this podcast episode right here! In The Entrepreneur Mastery Lab community, you’re going to find other professionals just like you, these are people that want to have a great business but also want to have some fun as well! To join our awesome community of rockstars like yourself, request access here! Best of all, they are both free! But what’s the risk of not having fun and not using gamification? Being too formal carries risk when you fail to meet your expectations of formality. Sooner or later all businesses do. All business are run by people and sooner or later people will screw up. We’re not robots. When that screw up happens and you only have a formal and professional brand, it hurts! It turns out people and consumers are much more forgiving when you have a brand that is likeable and more authentic. A brand that loosens up the tie and unbuttons the top button of the shirt. It doesn’t mean that consumers don’t expect professionalism, it just means that having some fun in your business and with your clients can go a long way to mitigate some risk.Maybe most importantly, business owners and professionals run a high risk of burnout, unhealthy levels of stress and long running anxiety. Building some fun into your business can protect your brand, enhance your consumer experience, and provide you with some substantial personal benefits too! If you’re working on your brand and your business and need to implement gamification and find some fun again, we can help!
